3×*thinner.
Than conventional veneers.
Thin when indicated. Beautiful by design.
When a thin veneer is clinically indicated, the result can be truly beautiful while conserving natural tooth structure.

See the difference.
A thinner ceramic layer may fit an additive design where your teeth have enough space. Preparation is assessed separately.
The product specification gives a preshade design range of 0.3–0.5 mm. Your actual design depends on the case.
Conventional veneers vary by material and design. This illustration does not represent every conventional veneer.

Three things to look at
before choosing a veneer.
Thickness is one measurement. Material strength, preparation and fabrication all deserve a closer look.
Thin by design.
Preshade zirconia is designed for 0.3–0.5 mm veneer restorations. Thickness is selected for the tooth colour, space and proposed shape.
A measured material property.
The zirconia has a manufacturer-rated flexural strength of at least 600 MPa. This is a laboratory measure of resistance to bending stress.
Made for your teeth.
Your dentist and Prodent consider shape, shade and available space together. The finished restorations need a clinical fit and bite assessment.
Material specifications do not predict an individual veneer's lifespan or make veneers unbreakable. Multilayer zirconia has a different published design range: 0.5–0.8 mm.
Your clinic.
Its own dental lab.
Prodent is our in-house dental laboratory. Your clinical plan and laboratory work are connected, so the proposed shape, shade and fit can be considered together.
Certifications refer to Prodent's quality management systems and their stated scope, rather than a guarantee of treatment results.

How much preparation
would my teeth need?
No-prep is a case selection decision. A thinner shell does not automatically mean less enamel needs to be removed.
Ask about my own teeth-
01
Room for the new shape
If there is enough space for the proposed contour, an additive design may be possible. Tooth position and bite matter.
-
02
The colour underneath
Darker teeth or a bigger shade change may need a different thickness or material. The thinnest option is not always the right one.
-
03
The most suitable treatment
Your assessment may point to veneers, whitening, composite bonding or orthodontics. Any enamel removed is a permanent change.

Practical questions.
Direct answers.
Can I have veneers without shaving my teeth?
Some teeth can suit a no-prep design; others need preparation. Your dentist assesses the available space, tooth colour, gums and bite before recommending an approach. No-prep cannot be promised before examination.
Will they make my teeth look bulky?
The final contour depends on the veneer and the original tooth. If adding a shell would create unsuitable bulk, your dentist should discuss preparation or another treatment.
Are zirconia veneers better than glass ceramic?
There is no single best material for every case. Glass-ceramic veneers can also be thin. Material selection should consider the intended appearance, preparation, bonding and maintenance, rather than a material name alone.
Can I finish during a short trip to Bangkok?
Ask the clinic to confirm the schedule after assessment. Allow time for fabrication, try-in, possible adjustments and review. A fixed visit count or completion date cannot be promised from this page.
What happens when I return to Australia?
Discuss your review plan and how to contact the clinic before travelling home. Keep regular dental reviews where you live. Ask what treatment information can be provided for your dentist.
Are thin veneers reversible or permanent?
If tooth structure is removed, that change is permanent. Veneers may need rebonding, repair or replacement. Even no-prep veneers should not be assumed to be removable without risk to the tooth.
